The beautifully articulated house is rendered in steel that takes on the color of the surrounding landscape. The gardens, like the architecture, are pared down to material essence – plain concrete, crushed rock, and a plant palette of native shrubs and grasses. A grove of almond trees creates a gateway and recalls the orchards that once dotted the area.
