As part of the revitalization of downtown Long Beach, this mixed-use retail-condominium complex is being developed with a sensitivity to the neighborhood. The plantings surrounding the complex create a garden frontage that ties the development to the residential neighborhood while offering a unique identity for the retail shops. Within the complex, various defined courtyards on different floors offer spaces for both intimate and group gatherings. The parking court is envisioned as a park-like space paved with permeable grass blocks.
